Description

Description

The Kurt DX8HR reverse vise is our newest addition to the automated DX vise series. The DX8HR shares many of the same great features of Kurt’s DX8 CrossOver® vise with the addition of hydraulic actuation—allowing the vise to open and close using a Kurt pump system. Kurt pumps can make our hydraulic vise models actuate manually with a lever or foot-switch or operate within a fully automated robotic workflow as part of an automated machining cell.

Features a cast-on stationary jaw for less deflection—and a more stable vise body when clamping, 8-inch wide jaws with a 10-inch opening and our proprietary AngLock® spherical segment creates all-directional alignment and reduces jaw lift for improved performance. Kurt hydraulic models come with single and double acting actuation that only requires switching out a brass fitting with the supplied hydraulic fitting.

  • Single acting: hydraulic clamping and spring return for unclamping
  • Double acting: hydraulic to clamp and unclamp for faster, more precise setup

The Kurt hydraulic unit has 1/4″ stroke.

Features Kurt’s Lifetime Ironclad Warranty.
