Patented CarveSmart™ Quick Change Master Jaw Sets convert a vise with standard bolt-on jaw plates into a high-productivity, rapid-setup, high-versatility workholding machine that can accommodate extruded aluminum soft jaws, hardened steel jaws or any other CarveSmart jaw extrusion or accessory option.

Available in 4″, 6″ and 8″ widths, CarveSmart dovetailed master jaw sets allow an operator to change jaw setups in just 10 seconds per jaw plate. Hardened tool steel and hard-coated aluminum master jaw options are available for 6″ vises with tool steel options for 4″ and 8″ jaw widths.

Patented CarveSmart jaw clamps replace cap-screw jaw changes

CarveSmart Master Jaw Sets replace cap-screwed jaws with a dovetailed jaw. Powerful, channeled clamping elements are accessed from the top of the master jaw, eliminating face-accessed cap screws. This patented jaw-clamping assembly is the fastest, most-durable dovetailed vise-jaw clamp available and gives CarveSmart dovetailed jaws a larger machinable workholding zone, capable of holding parts deeper into the jaws of a vise for better performance. Right-hand/left-hand (RH/LH) alloy steel differential screws and 1018 steel QPQ coated nuts hold jaws in place and enable jaw changes in as little as 10-seconds per jaw.

CarveSmart SMARTstop™ jaw sets are designed exclusively for CarveSmart Master Jaw Sets and Kurt TriLock Vises with CarveSmart Jaws preinstalled. SmartStops fit into slots on CarveSmart Master Jaws and allow quick jaw changes that line up perfectly each time.
