Description

The new 6-sided Kurt TriLock 6-inch Tower with CARVESMART™ Jaws revolutionizes workholding for horizontal machining centers with a design that features 6 TriLock vise jaw sets. Each of the six TL6 vise jaw sets can be reconfigured into three different vise sizes in minutes and can be completely disassembled for cleaning or setup in under 3 minutes. Patented CARVESMART jaws mount using a dovetail system that locates precisely with every jaw change and hold parts as solid as any bolt-on jaw. 3-in-1 TriLock Design

The TriLock design does the work of three vises in a single vise model and converts quickly between a double-station vise with as much as 4-inches of part capacity on each side, a single-station vise large enough for a 4-inch part or a large single-station vise that can hold parts as large as 11 inches wide with stock hard jaws. The friction block or “Third Hand” feature allows the nut and screw assembly to move freely within the tower while changing vise configurations or cleaning. TriLock Towers offer additional part holding options with upper and lower small single station and upper and lower large single station configurations. This allows operators to position jaws and parts at optimal heights.
