with WedgeLocks to hold twelve parts to be machined. The parts being
clamped are a member of a family of parts of various sizes. The
manufacturer of these parts can change the setup to accommodate
all sizes of parts within the family in a matter of minutes. The
exclusive Kurt SeraLock mounting surfaces are the key to the quick,
easy setups when changing over from one part to another.
The mounting surfaces of the Kurt SeraLock allow quick, repeatable
accuracy when repositioning modular clamping elements such as the
WedgeLock. The serrations on the mounting surfaces of Kurt SeraLock
products align and locate SeraLock clamping elements with accuracy
and the speed needed in today's manufacturing environment. And because
of the versatility inherent in the system, setups ranging from extremely
high-density loads of small parts to single station configurations
for very large workpieces can be accommodated on the same workholding
surface.
