Edmundo Bennett Durell Appointed Commercial Agent For Kurt Workholding
In Central And South America In Addition To Mexico
Minneapolis, Minnesota: Kurt Manufacturing Company, Industrial Products Division, announced that Edmundo Durell's sales and marketing responsibilities have been expanded beyond Mexico to include Central and South America.
Durell has been Kurt's commercial agent for Mexico for the last year and has been responsible for quadrupling Kurt workholding sales in that market, according to Steve Kane, sales and marketing manager for Kurt who announced Durell's expanded responsibility. "His work with customers, sales representatives and distributors developing workholding solutions using Kurt Vise products has been a success," reported Kane. "Central and South American manufacturing markets provide similar opportunity for growth and Durell is a proven performer eager to accept this new challenge."
Durell resides in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, which will continue to be his base of operation. Durell's expanded mission will be to provide horizontal and vertical machining center users in Latin American manufacturing industries with improved processes to maximize productivity and quality with Kurt Vise products.

Durell has over 25 years experience in Latin American markets holding management positions in freezing/refrigeration equipment, food and seafood, and biochemical companies. Mr. Durell is bilingual in English and Spanish and also is fluent in Portuguese. He holds a BS degree with honors in Food Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey-ITESM/ Unidad Guaymas. |
