New Kurt D810 Vise Has 10 Inch Jaw Opening,
11,600 Lbs.
Precision Clamping Force Plus Several New Features For Easier
Operation
Minneapolis, Minnesota:
Kurt's new D810 vise is ideal for precision clamping very large parts
for both tool and die and production CNC applications. With a jaw opening
of 10 inches and clamping force up to 11,600 lbs., this vise locks parts
precisely including very large parts for aggressive "hogging
out" operations.
A new updated body style incorporates several new
features making the vise easier and faster to disassemble for cleaning.
Top down, four bolt design on the stationary jaw reduces vise deflection
by 25 percent while allowing total disassembly of the vise without
removing the body from the machine table. Special brush seals shield
and protect vise screw threads from machined chips and residue. The nut
has been shortened so as not to protrude past the end of the vise body.
New powder coat paint finish resists coolant-induced peeling for greater
corrosion protection. The overall vise footprint is identical to earlier
models so both can be used interchangeably and in tandem.
Additional features of the Model
D810 Kurt Vise include: original, world-famous Anglock design that
insures the moveable jaw does not lift; 80,000-PSI ductile iron vise
body provides rigidity and long term accuracy while absorbing machining
vibration.
The D810 vise is ideal for precision boring,
tapping, drilling, grinding and finishing with high accuracy on most
parts made of steel, iron and die cast aluminum, including production
parts where datums, flatness and parallelism is important.
Kurt also offers additional sizes of D-series
vises for precision part clamping on most basic machine tools such
as knee-type mills, grinders and machining centers.
