Minneapolis,
Minnesota: Kurt's DoubleLock line of precision vises improve productivity by providing multiple part workholding for better machine spindle utilization, reduced tool change time plus reduced machine travel from part-to-part. They accommodate a wide variety of part shapes as well as a wide range of part sizes.
Providing repeatable clamping to .0002 inches, these Kurt DoubleLock vises
feature 80,000 PSI ductile iron body and steel components, which
provide strength, rigidity and long term accuracy while absorbing
machining vibration. They are self-adjusting over the entire clamping
range and may be converted to single station configuration for clamping
large workpieces.
Available in the following three manual models:
DL430 - 3" x 4" each station
DL640 - 4" x 6" each station
DL800 - 6" x 8" each station
All DoubleLock models are available with a wide range of jaw options to maximize their versatility in a changing shop environment. These jaw options include InnerLock and standard vise jaw plates in single step, double step, aluminum, semi-hard steel, serrated and V-jaw styles. The InnerLock jaw plates take just 40 seconds to change and have a reversible feature so each plate can be mounted in two directions.
In addition to three manually operated sizes, Kurt DoubleLock vises are also available in three similar size hydraulic models. These provide repeatable clamping for high accuracy machining and handle a higher horsepower cut than the manual version. The compact hydraulic design provides a wide range of clamping forces up to 12,600 lbs. |
